Darrell Abbott , also known as Dimebag or Dime was gunned down December 8, 2004 while playing a concert- this guitar was purchased by me the day he died as a collector guitar. The 10 year anniversary of his death is approaching this December 8, 2014. This is by far the most beautiful guitar in my collection- it is a substantial instrument. It also sounds unbelievable. If you are a serious collector, serious player or a fan of Dime’s, this guitar is a rare and must have item. Included with the guitar are mint condition collector editions of various magazines with tributes to Dime after his death. In fact, he is holding the Washburn Southern Cross on several of the covers. What makes this guitar unique is that it was the last of his signature production line with Washburn and the greatest collaboration between Dime and Washburn.
